Not only it’s fashionable but it’s also very elegant and certainly classy. It suits every single woman and every shape.

The main garments to achieve this style are the beige trousers, the white shirt (or a polo), the blazer and the scarf. And of course let’s not forget the riding boots.

Unfortunately spring hasn’t arrived yet, therefore I still have to wear my trench coat.

Every lady has to have a trench coat, not only it’s practical to wear for those particularly rainy days, but it also is a symbol of elegance, feminism and above all it’s classy.

Tips: You can either wear it over a dress or a white shirt and a pair of jeans. With high heels, ballerinas or boots.

Oh May…

Well May is finally here which means spring is finally here and summer is almost here! Well at least for some us. I haven’t been posting much lately, because finals are approaching and Law School is driving me insane, but I’ll try to make it up to you. I would also like to thank you for following my blog.

Well spring is a time for renewal. Flowers blossom, trees come to life, birds are singing, the sun is shining again and temperature is rising. It means it’s the perfect time to clean out your closet, decorate your room, find new books to read, listen to happy songs, travel… Change your attitude: smile and whatever you do keep it classy!

Perfume is your own signature mark, you may never forget to wear some. I would rather forget to wear my pearls… A scent is a distinctive smell that defines you, that is why many women only wear one kind of perfume throughout their whole life, it’s their signature.

Tips: You have to be careful with perfume, first of all you should wear a perfume that suits your age, there are some scents that are very mature (as for Chanel n°5). Strong scents are more appropriated to more mature women. You should always try some on your wrists before you buy it. The scent may be different from one to another, since it reacts differently with each one’s skin.

How to apply? The perfect way to apply for it to last longer is to apply on each side of the neck, on your wrists and right below your ears. You may also apply on your hair ends.

I’m a very classical woman, therefore I wear on a usual basis: J’adore de Dior, Coco Mademoiselle (eau de toilette) de Chanel and for the summer I like to wear Bronze Goddess from Estée Lauder.

As I sat through a never-ending lecture today, I had time to think about the next features I would be posting.

A true lady never forgets her magnificent watch. A ladies’ watch should be small and discrete. As for the rest of the features I think it’s up to your own taste. I’m in love with this Longines prima luna watch… (might be my graduation present) Even if you’re not a time freak, it’s always a fine accessory, which sometimes is enough.

After a hard day of work it feels really good to sleep in a nice and sophisticated bedroom. A true lady should not only wear pearls but also have a bedroom which reflects her personality. Your bedroom is your own private environment. Tips: the colors you chose should be preferably light colors, it reflects pureness and creates a calm environment. Chose also light colored furniture. As for the bed don’t forget to have lots of pillows and silk sheets. A final touch would be a beautiful vase with peonies… Keep it classy and simple!

Scarves are like pearls, they’re an absolute must-have and must wear all the time! Wether it’s winter or summer, you just wear them. You can wear them as a headband, around the neck or even as an accessory to prep up your handbag.

Headbands are an absolute must-have! Personally I like to wear them plain and simple. Consider satin or velvet headbands. If you prefer you may also wear them with a bow on or some pearls, it surely depends on your outfit. Don’t forget to keep it classy. Less is more!

Tips: You can wear them with your hair down or with an updo/ponytail. If you have light colored hair wear preferably dark colors, such as: brown, bordeaux, navy etc. If you have dark colored hair you may also wear those colors plus beige, cream, etc.

Good Morning everyone…

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Therefore it has to be very nutritious but it may also become an elegant meal, specially if you have guests.

For a simple breakfast: Serve orange juice, milk and coffee ( for coffee lovers). Then add some cereal bread and some croissants, and a nice display of butter and jam. And finally some fruit, preferably strawberries, raspberries, because these are full of antioxidants.

For a brunch: Display all the above plus some greek natural yogurt, it’s yummy and you can combine it with some raspberries. Because it’s brunch add small pastries. Add also scrambled eggs and slightly grilled (not fried) bacon. You may also add some toasts and pancakes.
